Most of the EAA UL110 Board meeting met last Saturday.  Some of the ideas we talked about are:

  • Ideas for how to attract other folks interested in UL / LSA flying  including:
    • Investigating opportunities to display planes and/or offer rides in planes
    • Articles in newspaper
  • How to support EAA national organization in their watchdog capacity
  • Creating a club roster that includes photos of members and planes/projects & is available only to club members. Gary Garchar suggested an enhancement that would utilize Vaughn’s mug shots. Also an upgrade to the current website frames. Gary Garchar, volunteered to assist Blade on the web now that Blade is VP.

What happens or doesn't depends on what the overall club wants to do and who has time/energy to get it done.  In the meantime, the enthusiasm continues.  I look forward to our regular meeting, January 17th at Wings of History.
